well this website is run be me, my name is byron im am 24 years old and live in fairford in gloucestershire. i have grown up with steam engines mainly thanks to my uncle nigel who owns aveling and porter roller no: 5590 of 1904 a 10 ton  r10 type. me and my brother also own a steam roller aveling and porter no: 11959 an 8 ton c type . i started this site a few years ago to give people a better idea of the steam movement in and around the cotswold area.
